PayPal IAM team provides IAM services to the entire organisation. The PayPal IAM team is kicking off a multi-year to retire the legacy IAM solution. The technology replacement would be Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) product.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with various organisations within Paypal to translate provision/de-provision, RBAC and Certification requirements into technical specifications.
  • Developing Identity management integration plan, framework for internal and external applications.
  • Work closely with IAM Architect to develop creative solutions.
  • Develop various workflows for satisfying business requirements
  • Developing various reports using BI publisher
  • Working with various in house team or external vendors.
  • Leading design reviews with technical staff and provide guidance on programming standards and best practices.
  • Providing support to project managers in developing detailed project plans.
  • Providing guidance to access administrators on best practices for RBAC engineering.
  • Working directly with systems administrators during deployment.
  • Providing support coverage for Identity Management platform.
  • Troubleshooting the production environment and working with vendor ticketing system.
  • Conducting/coordinating Unit Tests/ System Tests and Performance testing of Identity Management System.

Job Requirement:

  • Experience in Designing and implementing Java-based applications
  • Strong Core Java knowledge and development experience, Knowledge on Design patterns & Collections
  • Should have good grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms
  • Should have good analytical and design skills and to align application design with business goals
  • Strong experience in multithreading & Synchronisation, concurrency, Garbage Collection and performance optimisation
  • Should have experience in JAVA performance tuning.
  • Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure
  • Experience of building a new system or modules from scratch.
  • Work experience with Oracle database SQL and JDBC, XML, Xquery, XSL, SQL, RESTFul web services, JSP, Java Servlet Technology
  • Should have good development experience to write programs in Java to call APIs and implement required functionality
  • Should be able to resolve code conflicts when multiple developers have worked on the same file

Additional Desired Requirement:

  • Good Understanding of Identity and Access Management
  • Knowledge of Oracle Identity Management is preferred
  • Knowledge of other IAM tools such as Sun IDM, PingID nice to have
  • Experience on Employee Onboarding/Offboarding Automation, RBAC, User/Role Provisioning, Access Certification is required
