As a core participant of your team, you’ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems powering the world’s largest e-commerce and payments websites at a scale few companies can match.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Master in Computer Science degree or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Strong applied experience. You’ve built, broken, and rebuilt software applications. We’re looking for creative thinkers who also know how to create real-world products.
  • Solid experience working with or familiarity around Java.
  • Very strong foundational knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL/NoSQL, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering
  • Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3, JS ES6, Popular JS frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, GraphQL), Popular JS Libraries (Babel, Webpack, Underscore, Async) is a plus.
  • Experience with iOS development and/or Android development is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within a team of highly talented engineers, product and architect to design and develop  a highly scalable Java services.
  • Design, development, and testing of features delivered as applications and/or services.
  • Write tests for the existing and newly created code to maintain compatibility
  • Collaborating with peers and leads both within the team and across the organization.
  • Working with scrum teams and product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high quality solutions on time.
  • Working with operations teams to ensure applications and services are highly available and reliable.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing architectural documentations and create the new one as needed
