PayPal's Social Money Platform team is assembling and building the services needed to enable PayPal, Venmo and Xoom's next generation of P2P growth.

The Social Money Platform team consists of two groups - a platform group and a customer experiences group. The goals of the customer experiences group are to discover and define the initial use cases to be implemented using the Social Money Platform.

We're assembling the Social Money Platform as the basis for PayPal's cross-brand P2P services for the future - leveraging the best of what exists in PayPal, Venmo and Xoom to provide interoperability between platforms, scalability to handle the demanding needs of our business and availability that's second to none.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong experience in data analytics preferably in a P2P or related financial services environment, who is comfortable with a heavily research and discovery focused role to join a team that is passionate about delivering best-in-class P2P solutions to our global consumer base.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead research efforts to bring new personalized P2P and adjacency experiences to life for our consumers on the new Social Money Platform
  • Be comfortable with interacting with senior executives both inside and outside the company and provide though leadership towards delightful and personalized customer experiences
  • Effectively execute working with 3-in-a-box with design and engineering teams building products across multiple geographies
  • Continuously improve the experiences we present to customers, working closely with the user experience teams to deliver excellent, customized and optimized solutions
  • Partner with engineering and analytics teams to build right level on instrumentation and tracking to deliver insights into customer experience and behaviors
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams and other related product managers, designers and engineers to ensure iterative yet continuous delivery
  • Work cross-organizationally with product marketing, marketing, global operations, legal, compliance, disputes, risk management and other functional areas, to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of P2P and/or other financial services domains
  • Work effectively with internal and external partner teams in ideating, building and bringing products to market together
  • Proven experience of managing products especially working with senior leader and partners
  • Experience working with global markets
  • A strong track record of delivering high quality products and customer experiences in a very high growth environment where priorities and structures may shift
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary due to dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering and product teams
