We’re looking for a UX Writer to help us build user experiences that empower people and businesses around the world.

Our Content Community of Practice works side by side with UX Designers, Content Strategists, Product Owners, and Researchers to create interactive digital experiences for the Web and mobile apps. We are design thinkers who meet customer needs with clear, consistent, and compelling content.

Reporting to the Head of Content Community of Practice, this role is instrumental in defining, developing and implementing content standards and best practices across the Product Content team, and the wider PayPal organization.


What you’ll do at PayPal:



• 

  • Develop and implement content guidelines and standards
  • Help define and measure (on a monthly basis) content quality and effectiveness, from a customer and business standpoint
  • Develop and deliver training to the wider Product Content team
  • Organize and run content office hours, as required
  • Develop and implement horizontal content strategies, as required
  • Work with Brand, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to ensure full alignment and delivery of content for PayPal’s LE experiences.
  • Audit and evolve the methods, tools, and artifacts used to create, edit, publish, and measure product content.
  • Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, terminology, writing, and style.
  • Reach across disciplines and departments to demonstrate how content can be used to create lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers. 

The skills you need:



• Excellent, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills.


• 5+ years of professional writing experience, with 3 years writing web and mobile content, preferably for interactive user experiences.

Experience using content as an engagement tool that enhances customerrelationships

 Experience defining, using and implementing content standards and guidelines

Experience in defining and executing the measurement of content effectiveness and quality
