The Small and Medium Business team at PayPal UK, look after a diverse segment of businesses ranging from Sole Proprietors to larger more established businesses and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, savvy, all rounder who wants to join us, and have a unique professional experience, in our mission to be the number 1 trusted commerce partner for SMBs in the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with the team across a broad range of activities to position PayPal as the SMB Champion in the UK including supporting strategic initiative development, campaign management, opportunity analysis, creative content creation, pain point resolution and process optimization
  • You will also work closely with the other PayPal functions who shape our merchant experience, including product, risk, marketing, legal, compliance and finance

Job Requirements:

  • Curious, creative, reliable, energetic, results focused with a can-do attitude
  • Business/commercial savvy and interested in the operational, marketing and financial aspects of businesses in general
  • Good people and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Use data, insights and logic to deconstruct problems to identify the source and propose solutions
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and follow-through. Should enjoy problem solving, fixing processes and a desire to be a Small business champion
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and very strong in excel

To be considered you must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a degree in a business / commercial related subject with expected grade at least a 2:1
  • Be available for a 12 months internship starting July 2018
