The selected applicant will be a senior level IT desktop systems administrator with proven experience and skills required to be successful in a large, complex global company

The successful senior level applicant will be part of team responsible for maintaining and supporting SCCM as used by systems administrators from desktop support, desktop engineering and server operations teams.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing a global installation of a systems management tool like SCCM
  • SCCM experience should include demonstrable knowledge and experience around
    •  maintaining a healthy SCCM client install base
    •  Maintaining a healthy SCCM infrastructure  
    • Developing packages and deployment applications ready SCCM rollout
    • Leveraging SCCM to deploy Microsoft patches and 3rd party patches on Windows servers as well as Windows desktop computers.
    • Creating reports to show software and patch deployment status and being able to act on failures seen on these reports
  • A strong background in writing scripts leveraging Powershell and/VBscripts to automate repetitive tasks. Coding in object-oriented languages is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of, and experience with, Windows 10 security models, Windows 10 deployment rings and Windows 10 updates
  • Experience leveraging GPOs to manage configuration changes and enforcement of changes across a large environment
  • Experience leveraging SCCM DCM for drift management and policy enforcement
  • A great degree of comfort creating SCCM reports from scratch or by modifying existing reports
  • Experience with OSD and Task sequence
  • Proficiency in leveraging SCCM/DCM and GPOs to implement industry acceptable security hardening guidelines.
  • Experience scanning for and deploying patches and fixes to eliminate security vulnerabilities in a large and complex environment.

Desired Communication and collaboration skills

Being able to comfortably communicate both from a written and verbal standpoint will be an important key to success in this role.

Comfort communicating desired objectives, implementation plans and design strategies and results to senior level audiences, architecture teams, security teams and support teams

Comfort working with users of SCCM, business application owners and members of the security organizations to understand their requirements and ensure solutions are built with these requirements in mind.


Educational background

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a degree in a related field.

Any relevant industry certifications in IT and/or Information Security will be considered
