As a member of our team, you will work with our team of engineers, business partners and operations teams to build new experiences, improve existing products, developing robust software solutions and dependable products for our PayPal Operations customers. You’ll work on building and guiding strategic application efficiencies, issue/bug management, and helping to maintain a solid framework for our team to work on. Many teams across our Global Operations teams rely on our web and automation tools to more quickly and efficiently manage their day to day responsibilities. We are currently working on building new solutions to expand our desktop and process automation capabilities to new teams.

The Agile Product Solutions (APS) team develops solutions with a broad array of technologies.  Our team leverages internal servers to develop, support and enhance web applications.  We also develop batch automations within the Pega Robotics Platform.

  • Ability to go in-depth on the technology stack, across different technologies to understand end-2-end system workflow and architecture.
  • Partner closely with our team as well as dependency teams to craft great product experiences.
  • Be a crafts(wo)man and encourage code craftsmanship across team.
  • Actively participate in code reviews to attain the highest standards
  • Follow agile methodologies PDLC
  • Follow clean code principles and non-functional requirement best practices
  • Be innovative through rapid prototyping and iterative development

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years software development experience
  • BS in Computer Science or related degree required
  • Experience in .Net development and/or Visual Studio is required
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms and usage
  • Working knowledge of databases - RDBMS and NoSQL
  • Experienced in using build tools and source code repository tools such as: GiT, GitHub
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Experience in designing, developing and delivering software and/or platforms used by other developers
  • Should be a strong advocate of code craftsmanship, good coding standards and use of tools that will improve the quality of the delivered code
  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity, passion for technology, pride of ownership and strive for excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience in Pega App development is a plus
  • Scrum/Agile development methodology a plus

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in Pega Automation development is a extra plus
