Your primary responsibilities will be

  • Prime responsibility will be managing the GL accounting for the EMEA Regions
  • Coordinating with the Payroll Team to release monthly salary, 3rd party and exceptional manual payments
  • Working with our outsourced group of accountants in India to ensure all monthly journals and open items get processed in time
  • Maintaining proper reconciliation of all payroll G/L accounts and managing the integrity of financial statements
  • Reviewing the monthly Payroll reconciliations with the respective Finance Managers/BU Controllers
  • Confirming proper treatment and compliance of all accounting transactions and policies
  • Coordinating with other stakeholders (Payroll, Controlling, HR) for proper accurate recording of corresponding transactions
  • Providing support to External Auditors for EMEA annual audits
  • Providing support to Internal taxation team and external taxation partners for tax audits
  • Assisting when required with Statutory Compliance tasks and audit deliverables
  • Processing the GL related transactions and postings for the accounting of expatriate assignments handled by the EMEA entities.
  • Managing the monthly and quarterly vacation accruals


  • Hands-on experience in managing general ledger, payroll accounting and reporting function
  • US GAAP/IFRS/other European GAAP experience
  • SAP Financial System experience, or other ERP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, high energy, ability to cope with stress and tight deadlines, team work
  • Intense attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of personal accountability. Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint are an advantage. Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and another EU language would also be an advantage
  • Act with integrity and trust. High ethical standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrate/relevant accounting experience within a multinational company
  • Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • ex Big 8 experience would be an advantage
  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or equivalent experience
  • French or German language would be an advantage
