The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying and managing sanctions risks within the Global Sanctions Program and aligning new and existing PayPal affiliate relationships. In addition, the individual will perform the following job responsibilities: •Manage sanctions forecasting models and demand analysis for all domains in compliance using advanced statistical models including R programming, regression analysis, exponential smoothing algorithms and excel forecasting models. •Review monthly workforce business drivers leading to sound decision-making and execution of the global compliance operations. •Enhance automated reporting in Tableau to strengthen the ability for management to evaluate the impact of incoming volumes on service levels, productivity, and staffing needs. •Support and review Global Sanctions reporting controls and drive efficiencies within the program. •Facilitate executive review meetings with the senior leadership team and all levels of management.

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Effective knowledge of OFAC regulations
  • Experience with client and transaction sanction screening controls and systems
  • Experience with transaction and client OFAC alert adjudication
  • Experience developing and enhancing compliance policies and procedures
  • Experience managing special projects and compliance oversight responsibilities (risk assessments, audit, regulatory requests, etc.). 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Legal, Product, Operations and Technology partners regarding OFAC regulations and risk
  • Experience with working across multiple lines of business while leading complex project management initiatives with high attention to detail and accuracy; while multitasking and meeting deadlines despite competing priorities
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on MS Excel and experience driving results from management reporting.
  • Ability to identify potential gaps and provide recommendations for mitigating potential risks.  
  • Strong experience building ad-hoc reporting from Teradata and Micro strategy for compliance partners.
  • Strong writing, problem solving, and analytical thinking skills required
  • BA/BS required
