The Sr. Finance Analyst, Corp FP&A will be responsible for leading corporate forecasting and analysis, managing key initiatives and leading systems and reporting management. This person will report directly to the Director of Corporate FP&A, and will play a critical role in ensuring that our performance meets internal and external expectations by identifying early signs of trends changes and highlighting potential risks and opportunities. This is a high impact, high visibility position with exposure to PayPal’s senior finance leadership team in all regions and functions.

Summary of responsibilities, encompassing:

  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly trends of key initiatives and communicate risks and opportunities to the overall PayPal portfolio
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and financial modeling for specific asks and questions raised by the top executives of the company
  • Work closely with the markets and products FP&A teams to understand drivers of current trends, forecast assumptions and communicate to the leadership on a weekly basis
  • Own corporate items analysis, forecasting and budgeting at PayPal Inc. level
  • Lead systems and reporting improvement and management

Job requirements:

  • World-class analytics and problem-solving capabilities required
  • A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and creativity
  • High energy, strong work ethic, willingness to do “whatever it takes” to get to the results
  • Team player attitude, partnering, and collaboration skills
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL
  • Basic knowledge of Stata / R / Python, Essbase, SAP
  • 3+ years in FP&A or related finance functions and / or payment industry
  • MBA or CPA is a plus
