The main goals for Senior DevOps Engineer are to create, maintain or re-engineer products and processes that will greatly reduce the organization's time to deliver features to the market.

Under this position you will:

  • Create and maintain command line tools that will help automate processes for both human and systems
  • Help create and maintain tools that improve the Provision and Deployment Pipeline
  • Define, re-engineer and document processes related to tools that you write, and Open Source tools the organization uses
  • Work as an advisor and mentor to other areas of the organization on the tools and processes the team develops
  • Write and present Proof of Concepts and Request for Comment documents on the possible use and future integration of new technologies into the organization's workflow
  • Help enforce the vision to manage EVERYTHING as code
  • Help other infrastructure teams to embrace the concepts and workflow related to Test Driven Development

    Linux system administration
