The Senior Channel Partner Manager is a critical component of the South-East Asia PayPal Merchant Services team. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to drive growth and ongoing value from the local and regional partners. The successful candidate needs to prepare and implement a robust operating plan to meet sales targets and generate accurate business forecasts. He or she will be required to manage relationships with key Channel partners, including shopping carts, payment gateways, technology providers and marketplaces. The role will also be expected to deepen business partnerships with key channel partners to drive best practice integrations and merchant acquisition.

  • Acquire new partners to ramp merchant acquisition for PayPal at scale
  • Work closely with regional team and country management team on Channel Partner strategies and plans
  • Cultivate the relationship with existing partners and drive new business opportunities
  • Lead and grow the channel team to maximize its abilities / performance
  • Identify new partnerships with potential players in the market
  • Maximize and drive business through innovative marketing initiatives
  • Leverage on internal resources to drive PayPal product implementation through partners
  • Develop and drive on-ramp process for new partners
  • Analyze performance of partners and develop initiatives to drive partner activities
  • Implement processes for managing, engaging, and expanding partnerships
  • Represent PayPal's merchant, product, and program interests to the partners
