About You • You have 4+ years’ experience within a customer support or financial institution, with experience in Fraud, Credit Risk, Transaction processing or Chargeback Processing • You have 2+ years’ supervisory experience • You have strong written and verbal communication skills. • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • You have an ability to lead and influence a top performing team by providing coaching and building good working relationships • You have strong working knowledge of external systems and PC based internet and software applications (e.g. Internet, Microsoft Office). • You are passionate about the development of others and driven by the success of those around you You Might Also Have • An ability to be comfortable working within ‘gray’ areas of policy where outstanding decision making quality is present. • An ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies. • The ability to work independently with a strong drive for results. • Experience with conflict management and interpersonal skills.

A typical day for the Seller Risk Services Senior Team Leader

  • You will build develop and lead a team of employees into a high performing team, delivering a balanced approach towards risk in order to best serve our merchants
  • You will participate in teammate selection, encourage internal talent movement and monitor training needs analysis to assist in the closure of knowledge gaps
  • You will manage the workforce efficiently and effectively while serving as a coach and subject matter expert for teammates and the merchant
  • You demonstrate to your teammates the ability to make sound decisions at higher risk exposure level
  • You will monitor and complete quality checks to coach and promote your teams performance
  • You take ownership of cases and escalations as required to continue building SME knowledge
  • You will drive positive Merchant engagement across multiple work streams and partners
  • You will identify trends and validate potential larger impact to portfolio for further escalation
  • You independently manage internal projects and demonstrate a high level of initiative with a proactive approach to risk

Holistic Review

  • Your critical thinking is E2E to understand the full Merchant Life Cycle evaluating Identity, Intent, Business Model, and Financial Stability of our merchants.
  • You develop the full “merchant story” within your review process to validate and understand the Merchants situation.
  • You wear several “hats” - Risk, Relationship Manager, Sales, Negotiator, and Investigator
  • You will work towards understanding Industry risk idiosyncrasies
  • You are working to have Global awareness of process alignment and economy implications
