Successful candidates will be security evangelists who can translate security concepts into language that is meaningful to many audiences, including business and technical leaders and individual contributors.

Candidates must be able to approach application security from the perspective of risk management and avoid purely academic thinking about software security. Demonstrable ability to influence decision‐making processes at all levels of a large organization will be critical to success.

Candidates must have strong leadership skills and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Candidates should be familiar with agile development processes and have experience integrating secure development practices.

The ideal candidate has experience writing and testing web applications and web services in the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, and JavaScript. The candidate should have familiarity with a variety of development and testing tools.

  • 3+ years of experience with security testing.
  • Proficient with Java.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with short turn-around times.
  • Understanding of Agile and/or SCRUM.
  • Ability to think logically, diagnose/triage.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Knowledge of security analysis tools and full understanding of static, dynamic, and forensic testing and analysis.
  • Understanding of typical multi-tier application architecture (presentation, logic, data).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking (proxies, firewalls, etc.), and common web technologies (HTTP, REST, Web Services, XML/XPath, etc.).
  • Substantial hands-on experience in any scripting language.
  • BS in Computer Science or Equivalent.
  • One of the following certifications: CEH/OSCP/ECSA
  • Experience with the following tools required: WebInspect, Fortify, Appscan, Burp , Fiddler
  • Experience with one of the following Network Tools  required: nMap, ZenMap, Karmetasploit, Nessus, Dsniff, WireShark
