LDAP Roles and Responsibilities

Administration of Sailpint IAM environment from a service perspective. This includes managing the Appserver cluster, deploying application patches, ensuring the uptime of the service and handling production incidents.

Managing of OUD/OSDEE instance in the multiple AZ’s and across security zones including Cloud deployments. This includes build, deploy and patching of the OUD/OSDEE instances that part of the above-mentioned environments. Upgrades to the latest version of the software.

Management of the MIT Kerberos infrastructure.

Management of the Load Balancer configuration including VIP/Pool/Nodes associated with LDAP and Kerberos thru the Skynet product

Manage production issue to the health of the environment including Index management and tuning Ensure syncs between all cluster’s members are in sync.

SSL Certification management that are deployed on the production cluster OS Patching Bare Metal Hardware Maintenance

On-call request from the PPCC and other organization for various issues that arise in the production/Q&A environment.

 24x7x365 support for the PPCC Monitoring of LDAP instances in all environment to ensure uptime SLAs are meet.

Monitoring of LDAP instances in all environment to ensure up/down status, and alarm on health state Management of Service Accounts that are not managed by the IAM at the presence.

Collect KPI’s and LDAP volume reports in Splunk TSDB metric gathering on all LDAP Prod node Configuration of Cfengine and Puppet Modules associated with all OS images for the local LDAP configuration for each OS. This includes both SSSD and NSCD configuration based on the OS version.
