Security Frontline Operations support for Tier I application and infrastructure response.

In direct support of the PayPal Security Data Platform infrastructure, the Security Frontline Operations team SFO strives to reduce both the duration and impact of outages of systems provided by IT Services. This is done through effective monitoring, timely and high-quality communication and alerting, and consistent tracking of incident progress.

  • Responsible for 24x7x365 monitoring of Security Data Platform infrastructure for alert-based threshold monitoring in PayPal CPI and OCIO environments.  
  • Engage with hardware vendors to address faults discovered in production components. 
  • Provide application level monitoring and restarts upon request by following documented and agreed to processes.  
  • Respond to alert-based ticketing and escalate to Tier II, III support as needed.
  • Provide operating system patching in compliance with InfoSec standards at PayPal.
  • Working experience with Linux/Windows OS
