The primary focus of this role will be to support users of and optimize the use of the platform, along with complementary applications that are integrated into Salesforce (SF) such as Marketo and Conga. Salesforce developers analyze company processes, develop workflows and custom solutions for specific business needs. Salesforce developers work collaboratively with others on the team to create custom, scalable processes for the company. Salesforce developers are creative, technically minded, and self-motivated. This is a full time, permanent role, with very limited travel required.

Daily administration and support of SF application

  • Serve as the primary contact for ongoing user support and data requirement.
  • Troubleshoot and work with users to ensure that Salesforce meets their needs and to keep pace with changes in program operation, policies and/or procedures.
  • Manage user setup, profiles and roles (user management)
  • Manage Salesforce configuration and testing (customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations, security, reports and dashboards)
  • Data policing – ensures that accurate data are inputted into SF.
  • Schedule and deliver timely SF reporting to the different functional teams 
  • Train users on how to effectively operate in SF
  • Document and maintain up-to-date SF processes, policies, configuration and training material

SF Developer

  • Work with SF architect/developer to maintain, develop and launch automated business processes and reporting.
  • Lead the testing and implementation of software development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, and debugging, as well as managing timelines and producing technical documentation.
  • Working closely with the business teams, perform reviews of the data, developing automated business process solutions to ensure that best practices are followed and the best data solutions are provided.


Programming Languages: APEX, JavaScript (nice to have)

Frameworks: Visualforce, Lightning Components (nice to have)

Tools and IDEs: Eclipse and/or Visual Studio Code

  • A bachelor’s degree with major or minor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or a related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of administration experience on a SFDC platform.
  • Experience working with Marketo and Conga.
  • Proficient at Excel and data management using tools like APEX Dataloader
  • A self-starter and innovative thinker with a keen interest in business operations/processes
  • Have analytical mindset to identify a user’s needs and to design and produce solutions to issues
  • Can communicate complex information effectively to people with limited computer knowledge and to answer questions as they arise, giving clear instructions
  • Able to work effectively in teams, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor toward their colleagues
  • Ability to distill loosely defined problems, identify potential approaches and execute solutions
  • Demonstrated success performing in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Strong time management skills - ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
