Strategic Sales Intelligence MBA Intern

The Strategic Sales Intelligence Intern will be based out of San Jose, CA, USA and report into the Global Sales operation organization.

The Strategic Sales Intelligence Intern will perform activities related to data strategy and governance that supports the enablement of an effective, efficient, and scalable reporting framework for Sales, Operations, Finance & analytics teams.

This role requires an individual with strong technical skills (ie. Data Management, SQL), attention to detail, knowledge of business intelligence solutions, superior written and communication skills, and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understand business drivers, strategic business vision and implement reporting solutions that support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to establish engagement and ownership of sales data definitions and rules to ensure its being effectively managed and governed.
  • Work with global colleagues to improve upon and maintain standards and processes used to deliver accurate and consistent sales reporting.
  • Partner with Global Data Sciences team to evolve and scale sales data infrastructure (models, tools, applications).
  • Work cross-functionally to lead efforts related to data gathering and metrics requirements to develop new features and platforms that generate uniformed sales reporting and insights.
  • Drive the sales intelligence roadmap, prioritizing long-term and short-term initiatives aimed at improving productivity and increasing revenue for the business.


  • 1st year MBA student looking for summer 2019 internship
  • 3-5+ years of business intelligence, with best-in-class consumer technology or financial services brands highly desirable
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with Data Management technologies
  • Ability to strike a balance between strategic thinking as an “idea person” and managing hands on execution cross functionally
  • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • BA/BS accredited college or university in Analytics or related discipline desired
