The Merchant RnP Lead Generation Analyst will be responsible of developing and continuously enhancing merchant lead generation data for the Merchant RnP Consulting Team. Analyst will partner with RnP Services, RnP Policy team, Merchant Services team and risk teams to drive strategy and execution of proactive RnP merchant consulting services by providing analytical support to identify the right merchant segments to which we can deliver the most value-added services. The specific responsibilities include but not limit to, - Identify merchant RnP enhancement opportunities and define the right merchant engagement strategy for different segmented merchants at different growth life cycle - Define performance metrics and use them to evaluate the efficiency of all value added services - Monitor the efficiency of merchant engagement and provide enhancement advice constantly and continuously - Provide analytical support to use data, technology to service merchant resolutions

Job Description

  • Develop automated reports leveraging the BI tools to provide the merchant lead generation and KPIs tracking.
  • Continuously revise and enhance RnP merchant lead generation to improve accuracy and value
  • Perform ongoing analysis of data to understand trends and identify associated trend drivers
  • Develop advanced analytical approaches to determine merchant segmented lead
  • Support daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting needs and processing from various sources
  • Perform time studies to understand the overall RnP merchant experience strategy and make recommendations for becoming more efficient while maximizing lead accuracy
  • Create analytical view for RnP leadership of conversion inflection points by lead type and merchant experience improvement milestone to inform how long to work different types of leads
  • Translate business requests into production reports and business recommendations
  • Present findings / reports to internal management team and/or other business groups
  • Experience, familiarity and ease with handling large data sets and crunching numbers.
  • Significant experience with SQL or other software engineering languages
  • Familiarity with statistical packages (SAS, R), and visualization tools (Qlikview, Tableau, High Charts etc…).
  • Passionate about problem solving.
  • Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis and data analytics into business insights.
  • Strategic thinking and mental flexibility to be able to understand both the details of the problem, as well as, the big picture/business solution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skill with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms, and effectively influence both peers and senior leadership.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and highly results-oriented.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative discipline or equivalent of 3 + years of diversified analytics experience required
  • Experience in merchant data mining and trend analysis
  • Prior background using statistical software programs such as SAS, SQL or R required
  • Have a passion for “digging into” data, which surpasses what a variable in a field tells you is the answer
  • Strong attention to detail, and keeps excellent documentation
  • Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is adept to change
