We are seeking a highly motivated Risk Analyst, with a good attitude and a desire to prevent online fraud, money-laundering and terrorist financing in a high energy, fast paced, ever evolving atmosphere. The position will be located in our Guatemala City office.

  • Analyze trends and identify areas/corridors requiring increased controls in order to protect consumers and Xoom from future incidents of fraud
  • Proactively monitor and review suspicious money transfers for possible fraud including patterns and trends
  • Report identified trends and patterns to management and provide insights/recommendations for loss mitigation as needed
  • Translate the trends and patterns into actionable screening rules on the Xoom Risk system
  • Contact customers by phone and email for the purpose of verifying information and authenticating users
  • Follow policies and procedures for investigating fraudulent behavior and comply with federal and state regulations
