The position involves close working relationship with product organization. The passionate candidate would have strong ownership to resolve problems from end to end with knowledge of the competitive landscape, strong analytics abilities and disciplined execution through creative thinking in matrixed organizations.  A passion for problem-solving, flexibility, comfort with ambiguity and creativity  Identify & describe the pattern of fraud activities, analyze & execute the end-to-end risk management process.  Collaborates across teams to meet the project goals, resolve any issue and to implement improvements  Consult on business initiatives, products and features. Analyze risk impacts, exposures and expected margin & customer experience  Continuously seeks out improvement and innovation opportunities that have immediate and meaningful impact on business. The Micro Seller Risk Team is responsible for delivering on the loss targets for global micro/casual sellers as well as metrics related to user experience. Analytics-based strategy, execution bias, originality of thought, customer championship and collaborative culture are some of the prominent themes in the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrates good general business knowledge and business acumen.
  • Strong in analytics, with the strategic thinking capability to solve the business problem from end to end.
  • Shows a high level of skills in breaking down problems into their essential elements, carrying out a diagnosis and developing a solution.
  • Ability to self-start, work independently and deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong business articulation and influencing skills on a wide range of topics and issues.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree and 2+ year professional work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills needed. Proficiency in coding languages like SQL, SAS, Python etc. preferred
  • Strong articulation, and presentation skills, and excellent communication both in Chinese and English.
  • Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services is strongly preferred
