Job Description: The RIIM Solutions Product Manager at PayPal works closely with Resiliency, Incident and Issue Management (RIIM) leaders, RIIM team members and end customers to drive improvement & maturity of RIIM’s Solutions. The Product Manager will be responsible for management and delivery of critical resiliency solutions and integrations to meet business requirements. The individual will focus on delivering and managing solutions; resolving issues within Service Level Objectives; and establishing and maintaining communication with customers on the status of their requests and roadmap. In addition, the Product Manager will manage vendor relationships and delivery to approved statements of work. In addition, as a system administrator, the individual will initiate and perform changes on production systems, including those needed on production User Interfaces and application feature enhancements. To deliver excellent customer experiences, this individual must manage multiple priorities, and foster positive relationships with engineering teams. This role requires a service-oriented mentality; high sense of ownership of problems and requests; ability to initiate and perform changes on production systems; and comfort in proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive product design, development, testing and delivery of solutions and enhancements within and without RIIM tools
  • Lead a cross-functional team in creating and launching quality online experiences
  • Create customer-first solutions to support control framework and strategic direction
  • Engage with external partners to deliver products
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional team to develop, market, and launch product globally
  • Maintain and communicate progress on initiatives to stakeholders
  • Manage roadmaps, project plans and stakeholder communications on status
  • Identify needs and requirements by interviewing customers, analyzing  and evaluating existing systems, and designing proposed systems
  • Liaise with requisite teams to develop and manage prioritized roadmaps for RIIM Solutions
  • Support design and testing of enhancements to the user interface (UI) for the RIIM tools
  • Ensure that delivered solutions meet company standards for reliability, and performance
  • Manage vendors that provide third-party solutions
  • Manage access and configurations on resiliency solutions, including Continuity Logic and Everbridge
  • Maintain and administer solutions to meet RIIM and customer needs
  • Maintain library of Emergency Response voice recordings and initiate requests for new recordings
  • Be part of a team to provide ongoing 24x7 on-call support for break-fix of resiliency applications
  • Serve on a rotational basis to “quarterback critical incidents” that occur

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management or computer science
  • More than 10 years’ experience in delivering technology solutions, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application problems
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) options, and Software as a Solution (SaaS) applications
  • Experience with product management and project management methodologies
  • Experience with application and user experience testing
  • Experience with managing third parties and statements of work
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Certification from DRII or BCI preferred
