We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and highly productive Software Engineer in Quality to help build, maintain and strengthen our world class risk prevention and mitigation systems in order to successfully combat cyber-crime. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for helping shape the future of mission critical risk systems. You will be collaborating closely with engineering, product and operations to help test features for our highly complex and heavily distributed risk environment. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions and monitoring all stages of software development.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of QA/testing experience.
  • Implement, execute and automate test suites based on design specifications.
  • Experience in Shell scripting, scripting languages like Python and programming in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with data gathering and data transformation using SQL and JSON technologies.
  • Proficiency with Unix systems.
  • Expertise in trouble shooting & debugging at application and system level.
  • Experience testing in distributed environment.
  • Experience with automation tools.
  • Comfortable using REST, JSON and other web service concepts.
  • Understand different test strategies such as functional, regression, system etc.
  • Experience with performance and load testing.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, document and triage defects, verbally and in writing.

Pluses:

  • Experience with Selenium, Groovy, xQuery, xPath, Splunk and Maven, Git, Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of financial systems.
  • Working knowledge of noSQL solutions e.g. Cassandra, Elastic Search, Neo4J, Redis.
