Public Cloud (DevOps) Engineer

Public Cloud (DevOps) Engineer 

PayPal's Site Reliability & Engineering organization is looking for a talented Public Cloud (DevOps) Engineer to join their elite Public Cloud Engineering team. As a Public Cloud Engineer you will write code, develop automation, review designs, and design secure and highly available public cloud workloads and capabilities for consumption by internal PayPal teams and external customers alike. 

Preferred Skills and Experience
• A solid foundation of writing code in any of the following languages Python, Go Lang, Java, and/or shell. 
• Previous experience with any Public Cloud provider (GCP, Azure, AWS, Digital Ocean etc)
• Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Hasicorp Vault, and Ansible a plus
• Experience building and/or running tools to manage a cloud platform and/or infrastructure.
• Exposure/Familiarity with common infrastructure services such as LDAP, DNS, Puppet (or a config manager), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD technologies, git etc.
