Core Platform and Infrastructure (CPI) team is the technology engine that powers PayPal’s business. Then we want you on our Enterprise PMO team! The “ePMO” is responsible for organizing and leading CPI’s most strategic initiatives.

This project will be responsible for owning the operations, planning and execution of key projects in an organized, disciplined and predictable fashion. You will be a critical partner to ePMO Program Managers in managing dependencies and links between projects, resolving problems, planning issues and project changes/challenges, executing effective communication processes to inform the regional teams about program progress, roadmaps and key deliverables, and by anticipating project needs and solving them enthusiastically (e.g. “see around corners.").

The tool kit required for both is necessary: focus on problem solving, accountability and outcomes, strong ability to influence others at multiple levels, initiative, drive, and structured analytical thinking. Our work supports the whole of PayPal and thus, the millions of merchants and consumers—our customers—worldwide who rely on our platform every day.

You are detail oriented, meticulous, customer-focused, and have a reputation for getting things done. Moreover, you love operating in a dynamic and demanding environment, think critically, act quickly, and partner naturally. Good judgment, and team building skills are coveted.


Requirements

  • 2-3 years meaningful experience in technology project management delivering technology initiatives in a high growth/high velocity environment at a leading consumer technology company or management consulting firm
  • Excellent oral, written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, open team environment (e.g. lots of impromptu brainstorming, frequent co-ownership on project deliverables).
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies such as Scrum, and associated tools like Jira, Rally, etc.
  • Impeccable collaboration and analytical skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a discipline emphasizing communication skills, business savvy and/or organizational know-how.
