PayPal Credit Technology needs a Project Manager/Business Analyst to develop, maintain, and support Technology Operations for the PayPal Global Credit Program Management Office (GCPMO) and the Leadership team. This position will report to the Senior Manager of the Analytics & Governance Team within the GCPMO.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

This position owns or directly supports the following:

  • Portfolio Analysis – Analyze the Credit portfolio on a day to day basis to ensure the team's work aligns with the executive strategy.
  • Roadmap Planning – Work with leadership during the quarterly planning process.
    • Review Capacity vs. Demand
    • Identify dependencies
  • Reporting – Maintain and construct reports authored by the GCPMO.
  • Project Management - Responsible for leading a small program(s) with moderate complexity or importance. With minimal guidance, develops an end to end program plan and drives stakeholder communication.  Effectively implements Program Management methodologies

Job Requirements

  • Very familiar with Excel and management of datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and structure raw data, draw conclusions and present actionable business recommendations.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining on-time delivery.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data from multiple data sources.
  • Be a key liaison between engineering managers and HR, Finance, Facilities, Corp IT, and other groups. Adjust messaging depending upon audience members.   
  • Understands Product, Technology and PayPal Strategy & Vision and how they all tie together. Defines plan of actions for multiple programs
  • Understands program OKRs, success metrics and how they influence key decisions. Reports OKRs progress and corrective actions (if req.) periodically
  • Understands the quarterly/annual roadmaps and ensures design, technical solutions are in place. Starts learning, understanding customer’s point of view
  • Decide how to track the program health, when and whom to escalate. Drive consensus to make decisions at the program level
  • Demonstrate solid understanding and communication of goals/strategies of projects / program to the team. Awareness of cross project/program awareness. Develop detailed release and program plans.  Remove impediments for the teams and help them meet their commitments.
  • Identify, track, prioritize and drive resolution of project/program level issues, leveraging lessons learned from prior experience and work to address and mitigate systemic issues
  • Identify project/program risks and develop risk mitigation techniques to minimize issues.
  • Create and implement new processes and procedures as required by projects/programs. Actively seek improvements and implement changes to PMO processes and tools.
  • Presents clearly and keeps presentations on track. Answers questions from executives confidently and accurately. Able to persuade peers, partners.
  • Represents organization working with other global business units. Provides timely feedback to team members and peers. Removes friction and resolves small conflicts without escalation.
  • Able to identify a problem and propose and implement a local solution within the team in a collaborative manner.
  • Inspires the team to deliver high quality products that delight our customers. Ensures buy-in for the program approach within the cross-functional team.
  • Takes personal accountability for the quality and performance of the program. Keeps the cross-functional team focused on common goals.
