This position will provide program management services for key initiatives across Finance. The Program Management Office (PMO) Lead should be a dynamic, self-motivated, inquisitive and experienced manager versed in Finance processes and systems to lead the development and execution of Finance projects and programs in collaboration with executive sponsors and project teams. The PMO Lead will be responsible for developing and/or refining project management tools and processes to accelerate execution and business benefits of initiatives.

The scope of responsibilities is global and will include:

  • Ensure compliance with project management process, tools and methods across the portfolio
  • Direct the portfolio management process including the review of project charters and funding requests, and preparation of materials required by the prioritization process
  • Manage portfolio financial analysis including monthly budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Partner with Corp FP&A to evaluate and explain variance analysis
  • Prepare and distribute monthly portfolio status
  • Define and manage project management office processes and ongoing process improvement initiatives including ownership of the project delivery tool (i.e., Microsoft Teams and CA PPM) and partnering with external resources where applicable
  • Other activities as assigned
  • Occasional travel may be required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project and program management experience in a large global organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field required
  • Domain knowledge of and project management experience related to finance and/or accounting processes and/or systems
  • Experience with or exposure to business process mapping or re-engineering
  • Functional knowledge of project, program and portfolio management
  • Functional knowledge of budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes
  • PMO management experience including stakeholder engagement, project/program/portfolio planning and execution, testing, budgeting, planning, and forecasting
  • Leadership presence and ability to communicate with impact
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, research, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to interact with leadership at all levels; demonstrated success in building internal business relationships at a senior level with a proven track record of success in internal communications; proven internal client credibility; ability to influence
  • Willingness and ability to work independently, think creatively, and ability to pivot depending on changing priorities and deadlines
  • Affinity for a high-performance, fast paced and project-oriented work environment
  • Team oriented, highly analytical individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions

Technology Proficiencies

  • Highly advanced Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrable experience working with CA PPM or equivalent Program Management tool suites
  • Working knowledge of Tableau or equivalent dashboard reporting tools
  • Working knowledge of Excel VBA
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
