In this role you will be part of building marketing technology products to aid customer growth and business expansion. You will arm the marketing (sales and other teams alike) with technologies that optimize and automate their experiences for inbound and outbound marketing. The Product Owner for Data & Decisioning is responsible for developing and scaling a Customer Data Platform that enables real-time decisioning of customer experiences, offers and messaging.

As the Product Owner for Data & Decisioning, your job responsibilities would include:

  • Developing platform capabilities to drive a single view of the customer for sales and marketing
  • Work with various data teams including Risk, Global Data Science, Global Analytics, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Architecture to enable real-time data processing and decisions
  • Collaborating closely with regional teams and other related product managers, technical architects, engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders, to ensure that the product solution delivers against business objectives
  • Creating use cases and detailed product requirements documents to articulate desired product features and functionality to technical, user experience & design, and other cross-functional teams
  • Collaborating cross-organizationally with sales, marketing, customer support, operations, legal, compliance, risk management, engineering, user experience, QA and other functional areas, to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities
  • Ensuring cross-functional product team execution (with Project Manager and Engineering Manager), meeting project milestone dates, driving decisions across teams and escalating appropriately
  • Monitoring impact of product features on merchant usage, merchant engagement, and other key metrics
  • Develop metrics and studies to quantify the value of different aspects of business processes and consumer behavior
  • Optimizing technology investment through clear tradeoffs between time-to-market and long term solutions
  • Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement • Troubleshooting product issues and answer product questions – be the product ‘expert’
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of your product and its features across the company

  • Experience with 3rd party data distribution and augmentation
  • 5+ years experience with data platforms and applications
