At PayPal Credit, we develop technologies to allow people and businesses to easily finance their everyday purchases.  Specifically, with the Global Credit PMO Team, facilitating and driving program governance and compliance activities across multiple portfolios.  This role requires the ability to partner with  stakeholders across the Product, Technology and Business orgs to align activities and evidence of compliance, and get hands on experience with the inner workings of a Portfolio Management team at PayPal.  The ideal candidate will have  a passion for analytics and delivering quality reports and insights in support of communicating portfolio health.  We are looking for candidates with highest levels of business acumen along with technical, analytical, data visualization skills, as well as a keen desire to deeply understand our products and services to push our deliverables forward with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn!

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related major or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Compliance, Governance and/or Legal assessment activities
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and structure raw data, draw conclusions and ability to convey a story with actionable business recommendations
  • Experience in MS Office tools
  • Proficiency with Excel and management of datasets
  • Understanding of online collaborative tools such as Smartsheet, MS SharePoint
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining on-time delivery
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data from multiple data sources
  • Be a key liaison between engineering managers, Finance, Legal Business and Product organizations
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Bonus points for proficiency in building dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau

Core Duties:

  • Drive Portfolio QC activities by setting clear expectations and bringing stakeholders together to plan and perform QC activities
  • Provide clear, concise and effective compliance evaluation feedback to mitigate risks identified.
  • Ensure quality testing and monitoring records are maintained in the appropriate systems of record
  • Provide input to improve policies and procedures
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding trends and changes recognized during day to day monitoring activities
  • Perform risk and control assessments for PayPal Credit solutions, including the documentation of initial Complaint Category and Trend information based on the interaction reviewed to develop Complaint Root Cause statements
  • Ensure allocated work is completed in accordance to monthly milestones
  • As needed, assist in the development of QC processes and/or systems in support of QC control activities
