The PayPal Global Design, Delivery and Operations organization is looking for an MBA summer intern to work with the Product Engagement & Planning team on a change management project, which impacts both PayPal’s product development and the larger organization. We seek a self-motivated and creative individual with the ability to think strategically and work resourcefully to continue the momentum of the organizational change while building rapport with a broad range of stakeholders in the company.  

The project is to collect success stories (and case studies) of this organizational transformation and provide a recommendation on how to package these stories and share back to the organization. The goal is to demonstrate how the collective behaviors of our people are changing the culture of the company and sustain the momentum of the transformation. In parallel, the internship will support with a quantitative assessment through a survey, which compliments the story-telling aspect of the project.

This role is a unique opportunity to take a front-row seat in an operational and organization shift for a large technology company.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with diverse group of stakeholders across the product organization and in adjacent functions (sales, marketing, strategy) to collect success stories around the 5 themes of the operational transformation.
  • Propose a standard format or formats for documenting these stories and sharing with the organization.
  • Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness to leverage the various internal communication channels and share these success stories
  • Stitch together these stories/case studies into a compelling conversation
  • Provide insights into any systematic roadblocks or recommendations
