We are looking for a highly talented, experienced, self-motivated individual with an expert knowledge of AML Compliance regulations to join the Anti Money Laundering (AML) Compliance team.

Position Summary:  

The Global Financial Crimes organization is seeking a highly talented, self-motivated individual to facilitate alignment and coordination across GFC teams and product development organization. The successful candidate will play a requirement gathering, coordination and support role in the successful development and implementation of technology solutions across the program. The role will report directly to the Head of GFC Technology Strategy.

This role requires a self-starter with the ability to independently operate with a sense of urgency while managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline driven environment. You will be able to shape the tools used by the GFC teams and make a significant positive impact on the daily experience of the GFC investigators.


  • Key point of contact for technical teams for the GFC domain in scope, active participant in tools meetings and technology working sessions
  • Provide support of technology projects related to both internal tools and external sites/software/vendors
  • Gain/maintain deep knowledge of the various business processes across different GFC groups, create process documents and charts
  • Lead the requirements gathering sessions with compliance teams
  • Convert business process and user requests into detailed requirements documents and the associated process maps
  • Organize the UAT ( User acceptance testing) process, scheduling and leading the UAT calls, writing test cases and guiding the other testers on the best practices, tracking the results and change requests, and tracking their completion by the technology teams
  • Follow up with the technology teams on the implementation progress and communicate status updates to leadership
  • Support the operational readiness process for releases: coordinate with training and reporting teams, create user ramp up plans, create user communications
  • Track technology related issues for the relevant GFC domain along with the remediation plans and ensure there is not a negative impact by technology solutions to the teammates performance
  • Support various technology related projects as needed within GFC Technology Strategy team
  • Develop and maintain relationships across multiple domains and partners, drive initiatives, track adherence to the timelines and priorities and be an active and engaging partner both for business and technology contacts


  • BS/BA degree required
  • Knowledge of PayPal compliance investigative practices and tools preferred
  • Knowledge and prior experience with supporting technology initiatives preferred
  • Experience in creating detailed documentation
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel)
  • Experience with creating PowerPoint presentations


  • Must possess strong verbal, written, presentation, and other communication skills:  Communication at all levels is crucial in this role, including the ability to communicate technical matters in simple terms to management, the ability to communicate in more technical terms with development teams to ensure full understanding of business requirements and project expectations

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic financial services environment
