As a global Program Delivery, Sr. Manager for PayPal, you will be responsible for partnering with PayPal’s award-winning marketing team to ensure global program success by establishing best in class working practices and delivering world-class communications to our audiences.​ You will be part of the Marketing Operations and Transformation team who have been tasked with a large transformation agenda, leveraging on the incredibly successful year for PayPal and our desire to democratize financial services and empower people and businesses to join and thrive in the global economy. 

 Responsibilities 

  • Being a Program Delivery lead for the team and marketers, you are working to support the flow of work across the Marketing framework. You could be overseeing or running complex end to end campaigns or working alongside other team members to scale proven successful marketing programs beyond flagship markets. ​ 

  • Strategic partnership, you will be able to provide the marketing team with your 10+ years knowledge of marketing, operations and/or program management experience so you can guide them to make the correct strategic decisions that will impact all the way downstream to delivery execution success.  

  • Agile & SMP champion:You are embedding new agile ways of working across the teams you support, ensuring work in progress flows as planned with smooth handovers between Marketers and Strategy, Product and Sales through the Single Marketing Platform and across the multiple business units. ​ 

  • Relationship Management: You focus on building relationships with Marketers & agency partners globally, developing mutual trust through your end-to-expertise and effective consulting skills. You are constantly driving adoption of the Marketing operating model across cross functional teams and in doing so driving high NPS scores. ​ 

  • Workflow management: You work with your colleagues to effectively manage all Marketing Work In Progress and balance projects across the globe.  

  • Optimisefor growth:You are effectively churning the extended Global Program Delivery team to keep a body of knowledge intact while maintaining costs and bringing new expertise into team. You reflect on the efficiency of the Global Program Delivery team and partner with Marketing Transformation to implement any necessary changes.​ 

 

Requirements 

  • Marketing or Management Degree with Technology or Agile Product Management or Agile Product Management certifications. Multilingual skill set a plus​ 

  • Multiple year Marketing execution and delivery experience with omni channel focus. Essential experience in managing multiple large workstreams in parallel.  ​ 

  • Expert communicator with broad stakeholder group. Experience of mentoring on Agile methodology, upskilling internal teams and driving adoption​ 

  • Is passionate about making an impact and rolling up their sleeves to make the right change happen and happen fast, in a leading global company​ 

  • Passionate about owning delivery and accountability for driving business change and performance 

  • This will be a leading role in the Program Delivery Team so experience coaching and managing teams is beneficial.  

  • Comfort working with cross-functional groups and leadership 

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
