We are looking for a development operations engineer for our production team who will be in charge of configuring, deploying and maintaining development and production applications, systems and flows.

We offer a secure, fast and inexpensive means of sending money, paying bills and topping up prepaid services across multiple digital platforms to both online and offline recipients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the engineering department alongside Platform, Risk, Directed Payments, Partnerships and QA teams
  • Configure and maintain internal development systems and applications 
  • Focus on the integration and maintenance of software utilities and features that facilitate frictionless development flows, version control, error control, results and file tracking, code and revision coverage, test metrics, as well as the development and tracking of products in an Agile environment
  • Configure and support the use of tools/implementations to optimize development efficiency, support engineering and identify/respond to the changing needs of the development organization
  • Develop custom solutions as needed to integrate and refine systems, identify unmet needs and opportunities to improve our suite of in-house tools and implement their solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Linux, Scripting, Puppet, Networking, DevOps
  • Desire to learn new technologies to keep on top of new industry discoveries and developments, and use tools and ideas in your daily work
  • Outside the box thinker and believes anything can be automated
  • Good team player
  • Cloud experience (a plus)
