Customer Success Product team is looking for a Product Strategy / Product Manager who is eager to work in the center of technology, product and business. You will seek to understand future business platform models and what the customer of the future is going to look like and need. Being a champion of the future and the untold, you will leverage your creativity and experience to develop insights that will help to inform current and future business and technology strategies. As a strategic advantage for the Customer Success organization, you will identify opportunities and create executable strategies around those opportunities. You will expand beyond the typical planning horizon and look toward longer-term futures, while ensuring the alignment of strategies and portfolios. As a critical enabler both for enterprise-wide strategy execution and transformation, you will have laser focus in creating PayPal's customer success' strategic advantage and an enabler of agility. Being in the heart of the business & technology transformation, you will not only inform the strategy, but also identify comprehensive impacts those transformations will have on the organization. Partnering with product, engineering and customer success teams across enterprise, you will lead a specialized team of business strategy architects to help shape our product capabilities and value streams to what customers most need and ensure PayPal's technology solutions is best-in-class. This is an opportunity to make significant business impact by driving operational efficiency (millions of dollars) and improve customer experience by leveraging cutting edge industry technology trends.

Responsibility:

• Highly collaborative and develop strong partnership with business, product and engineering leaders to define business, product and technology architecture
• Work with product and business on strategy, planning and problem solving, and helping teams develop business skills and knowledge
• Understanding of domain & industry best practices to develop technical vision & strategy
• Effectively communicate technology strategies & trade-offs to senior leaders, product & engineering teams
• Get sponsorship and alignment to ensure long-term vision is baked into product roadmaps
• Review solution designs to determine their technical viability & relevance to the business goals
• Influence product teams toward a common methodology
• Provide thought leadership and governance to the product, architecture & engineering teams as needed

• Option to attain mastery of Business Architecture methodologies, advocate and promote usage across the enterprise

• Option to manage a Product, Product line or feature set of Customer Success Domain

• This is an individual contributor (IC) role

Skills Required:

• Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable talking to senior leadership, architects and software developers

• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Must be very approachable and humble
• Able to solve complex, multi-dimensional problems
• Understand end-to-end software development cycle
• Familiarity with new & emerging frameworks, platforms and technology trends
