Product Quality Assurance organization’s mission is to: Deliver the best quality End-to-End payment experience to all international markets by educating, improving and ensuring that our products meet all the requirements.

The umbrella of responsibilities as the Product Quality Assurance member for a country or region involve the following:

  • Customer first approach – Being the point person in the region means to understand the local market in-depth, provide customer experience and insights into each product development
  • Live site quality:
    • Deep dive and follow up on live issues for the local market and drive to closure.
    • Reporting and monitoring of the live site for issues
    • Test Plans & Test Cases – analysis, review, and quality improvements to meet all local requirements – legal, cultural and customers
  • Testing Process – analysis, review, and quality improvements in the test execution
  • Automation – Define, review, failure analysis of key workflows for the local market
  • Product Quality Management – Overall Product Quality Monitoring, Reporting, Follow –up with our internal partners
  • Communication Quality Management – maintain a continuous communication flow with key stakeholders on all aspects of quality and our role in the region
  • Scalability Quality Management – support team initiatives to improve the country scope scalability
  • Process Management – Defining and improving processes to delivery high quality for the local market
  • Flexibility and adaptability – Adapting to new situations and challenges is a must

This opportunity in particular has a key focus on UK. UK is a key entry point market for PayPal into the region with a considerable footprint as it contributes to the region’s bottom line success.

At the core of this role is the unique challenge of tackling the complexity of PayPal’s ecommerce payment services that will serve as a key business platform for thousands of unique merchants and customers. Our applications must be fault tolerant and highly available in every supported language and locale. This role has a unique opportunity to provide quality leadership to our International Product Quality teams located globally.

We are seeking an individual looking for an international challenge that is passionate about delivering high quality products. The candidate must have an understanding of the software development life cycle with a solid experience in quality assurance, quality engineering and/or testing background. Job Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Other European Language a plus
  • Based in Richmond, UK
  • 3+ years of in a fast-paced software industry with an excellent understanding of Quality Assurance principles
  • 3+ years’ experience assessing, defining, and building test collateral material (Test Plans, Test Cases, Manual/Automation Testing, Test Reports, etc.)
  • 2+ years’ experience interacting with geo-located teams
