As a Senior Product Manager in the Alternate Payments team, you will be responsible for enabling new and innovative payment methods at PayPal.

The ideal candidate is an end-to-end product manager with a successful track record of:
• launching intuitive user experiences and products customers love
• building fast, secure, and robust payment platforms
• collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders (e.g. Biz Dev, Legal, Ops, Accounting, Treasury, Risk/Compliance, UED, external partners, etc.)

  • Design and drive development of next-generation middleware services platforms and framework components for highly scalable, highly available, highly flexible payments transaction systems. Drive innovation and integrate new technologies. Act as bridge between the technical and business groups, working closely with Business, Architecture, QA and other product development teams to address any Live issues present with PayPal’s data center. Design and drive development of libraries, tools, frameworks and/or processes to improve development agility for internal developers. Deliver efficient production quality code with eye to performance. Help advance company’s technical culture and the technical industry through presentations, blogging and other social participation. Responsible for defining the roadmap, scoping, prioritizing, planning and documentation. Work in a team environment.

Minimum Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BS/BA is required, MBA or MS preferred
  • 3+ years of consumer web/mobile, payments or related product management experience
  • Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products
