The Product Manager – (Video Conferencing) position is a relatively dynamic role requiring good technical knowledge, adaptability, organization, communications skills, and good project management skill to drive projects and task to completion on time and within budget. 

Job duties include but are not limited to –

Internal Technician Management -

  • Engaging with team members for timely completion of tickets, projects, and maintenance checks
  • Providing guidance to team members as necessary on any questions or concerns they have
  • Maintaining a schedule, load balancing meetings, and verifying coverage on a 24x5 coverage schedule
  • Delegate various tasks as needed
  • First line Interview prospective new hires
  • Identifying trends and recommend additional up level training

Vendor Management -

  • Perform regular (weekly) meetings with regional service vendors to discuss open tickets and actions for completion
  • Recording financial information related to service/upgrade costs
  • Includes some budget management
  • Reviewing quotes for accuracy and cost
  • Escalating issues to vendor after verifying need and ensuring all possible L1 troubleshooting has been performed
  • Work closely with AV integrators to ensure the PayPal standard is deployed properly and to our quality standards

Project Management -

  • Assigning tasks/projects to technicians capable of completing them with regular updates
  • Design/completion of projects for process improvement or as needed by the team
  • Ensure that all tasks line up under organizational goals and time lines
  • Accurately track and report on the status of each deployment and upgrade within the region
  • Open purchase orders and work with Global Deployments Lead to ensure financial information is being tracked properly

Customer Engagement -

  • Handling any customer escalations as necessary
  • Interacting with room owners when a room has a reported issue and keeping them up to date on progress
  • Conducting regular meeting with regional Business Units
  • Regular collaboration with business partners
  • Travel as necessary to interact with business to understand challenges and ensure our regional teams are meeting the expectation
  • Proactive communication with all teams to discover issues that have not been reported

Metrics -

  • Provide assigned metrics for supported region
  • Develop additional metric goals and tracking for performance of the team
  • Familiar with Power BI and SmartSheets
  • Be a video champion by using the technology and encouraging others to use the technology

Time/Issue Prioritization -

  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying problems and flagging them for resolution based on priority
