We are looking an SEO specialist for www.paypal.com, to cover our natural search/ traffic generation activities globally. You will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and implementing changes to our global websites to ensure content is optimized at a segment level to be picked up by search engines.

We are looking an SEO specialist for www.paypal.com, to cover our natural search/ traffic generation activities globally. You will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and implementing changes to our global websites to ensure content is optimized at a segment level to be picked up by search engines.  

You will input SEO-specific requirement into our content briefs, to ensure we produce content that includes keywords or phrases designed to increase traffic to our in-country websites around the world.  You will be comfortable defining test plans designed to optimize content, layout and other experience design techniques in order to gain the most organic traffic. You will partner with our paid search specialists, and SEO specialists in other teams, to ensure we co-ordinate our strategic and execution activites across the company.

You will bring an in-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting and the behaviors of search engines.  SEO is an ever-changing landscape, so you need to be comfortable continuously driving your self-development and keeping on top of industry developments.

Requirements

•       Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO

•       Expert knowledge of search engine optimization practices

•       Ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•       Ability to work within a team and independently

•       Detailed knowledge of Google analytics

•       Experience with website optimization tools

•       Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills

Responsibilities

•       Reviewing and analyzing PayPal.com sites globally for areas that can be improved and optimized

•       Preparing detailed strategy reports

•       Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic

•       Running PPC campaigns

•       Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors

•       Filling websites and other content with effective keywords

•       Writing effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts

•       Developing link building strategies>

•       Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors

•       Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines

•       Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines
