Merchant Data Products team is building the best of the best data products to provide our merchants with fast and reliable insights to run and grown their business. We are is looking for a talented, ambitious and self-motivated product manager to own and drive data products with a focus customer orientation. Build capacity and insights products using a variety of analytical methods to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Develop metrics and studies to quantify the value of different aspects of business processes and consumer behavior. Query relational databases (SQL) and automate and maintain processes to extract and integrate data from multiple, heterogeneous sources. Integrate internally- and externally-produced unstructured, semi-structured, and relational data sources. Build and maintain processes to acquire, transform, and curate multiple types of data necessary for analysis and insights. Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement. Cultivate and nurture critical business relationships to align data products practices within the company

In this role you will be part of building data products and insights to aid merchant growth and business expansion.  As a Product Manager in the Merchant Data Products team your job responsibilities would include:


  • Developing platform capabilities and insights using a variety of analytical methods to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Collaborating closely with regional teams and other related product managers, technical architects, engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders, to ensure that the product solution delivers against business objectives
  • Creating use cases and detailed product requirements documents to articulate desired product features and functionality to technical, user experience & design, and other cross-functional teams
  • Collaborating cross-organizationally with sales, marketing, customer support, operations, legal, compliance, risk management, engineering, user experience, QA and other functional areas, to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities
  • Ensuring cross-functional product team execution (with Project Manager and Engineering Manager), meeting project milestone dates, driving decisions across teams and escalating appropriately
  • Monitoring impact of product features on merchant usage, merchant engagement, and other key metrics
  • Develop metrics and studies to quantify the value of different aspects of business processes and consumer behavior
  • Optimizing technology investment through clear tradeoffs between time-to-market and long term solutions
  • Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement
    • Troubleshooting product issues and answer product questions – be the product ‘expert’
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of your product and its features across the company
  • Strong analytical skills; creative and relentless problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, unfazed by technical detail, committed to flawless execution

  • Skilled at developing detailed product requirements, working closely with product development
  • 5+ years of experience working on data and analytics or reporting products
  • Ability to build products starting with the customer and data
  • BSCS, BSEE, BS in Statistics or similar degree required
