The Resolution Experience team is looking for a self-motivated, passionate and talented product manager to create world-class product solutions in the Resolutions domain for our 227 million customers across the globe.

As part of the Resolution Experience product management team, you will drive existing product areas and help develop new ones based on a big-picture vision. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a keen eye for detail, the ability to prioritize and the drive to make a product idea a reality. Our product managers work closely with customers and business partners to understand their needs and to deliver amazing experiences. You'll be part of a team that is driving significant business impact and is critical to PayPal’s bottom line. 


In this role, you will be part of developing world-class Resolutions experiences that help our customers solve problems and manage their business. In this capacity, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Understanding the needs of our customers both from a segment and market perspective. 
  • Oversee all aspects of the agile team’s deliverables by working iteratively with cross-functional teams across the PayPal product/business organizations, engineering, integration and project management.
  • Be able to partner with engineering to understand the technical implications of what you are building, propose alternatives, challenge the scalability and reusability. 

  • Collaborating closely with regional teams, other product managers, technical architects, engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that the product solution delivers against business objectives.
  • Monitoring impact of product features on usage, customer engagement and other key metrics
  • Troubleshooting product issues and answer product questions – be the product ‘expert’.
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of your product and its features across the company.


Customer and market focus.Understand the needs of our customers both from a segment and market perspective.

  • Strong appreciation and conviction for how your work fits into the big picture

  • Conduct market and customer research to understand how PayPal customers use our products and what additional capabilities to address
  • Develop a keen understanding of the activities merchants and consumers perform on a day to day basis on PayPal and ensure that these activities are easy to perform
  • Develop merchant, consumer, and competitive insights

Independent thinker.Translate how company-wide priorities align with the product roadmap

  • Understand the needs of our customers, internal constituents and develop a practical path to achieving the product’s goals
  • Create product roadmap, evangelize roadmap to partners, monitor roadmap implementation progress, and deliver roadmap

Strong collaborator.Lead collaboration across the organizations and partner to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities

  • Influence and evangelize to the larger organization to drive urgent execution
  • Work with colleagues across Product, Risk, Global Operations and Platform to clarify the vision and articulate plan to deliver
  • Conduct roadmap review sessions to ensure that the cross functional plans are in line with your team's plans
  • Conduct reviews with key partners and customers on progress and plans

Technical competence.Ensure cross-functional product team execution, meeting project milestone dates, driving decisions across teams and escalating appropriately

  • Determine the technical implications of what you are building, propose alternatives, challenge the scalability and reusability
  • Make tradeoffs between new feature and tech debt development
  • Document use cases and detailed user stories to articulate desired product features and functionality to technical, user experience & design, and other cross-functional teams
  • Monitor impact of product features on revenue conversion, merchant engagement, and other key metrics

Team leadership. Oversee aspect of the agile team’s deliverables by working iteratively with cross functional teams across the PayPal product and business organizations, engineering, quality assurance, integration and project management

  • Drive the development of the long term product strategy
  • Manage a prioritized roadmap to address needs and accelerate growth
  • Continuously monitor how new product features and improvements affect merchants as well as consumers
  • Provide timely, frequent feedback to your peers and partners and be open to the same in return. We're a team and focusing on continued growth is an important dimension of the work that we do.


  • 3-4 years of Product Management experience
  • Strong analytical skills; creative and relentless problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong ability to translate product needs to technology and understand technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, unfazed by technical detail, committed to flawless execution
  • Team player; ability to interface and build relations at all levels internally and externally
  • Skilled at developing detailed product requirements, working closely with engineering
