Act as focal person for pricing operations in China. In charge of pricing approval, advisory, process management and management reporting.

Job Description:

This role reports to CFO of China business and will aid in all commercial discussions. In this role you will gain exposure to a wide variety of pricing projects and responsibilities. Beginning with our core business, you will manage commercial negotiations with our China large enterprise portfolio in partnership with cross-functional leads from sales, finance, core payments, risk, marketing, and operations. Immersing yourself in the nuances of PayPal, you will develop a deep understanding of the business from end to end, allowing you to tackle broader initiatives related to product- or country-specific pricing, the ever-evolving competitive landscape, strategic partnerships, M&A activities, etc. Given the high-profile nature of Pricing projects, this role offers regular visibility to senior management and the opportunity to materially impact PayPal’s business.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Help set vision, prioritization, and roadmap for Pricing in China
  • Deploy best-in-class pricing models and analytics to develop compelling, insightful recommendations for senior management
  • Creatively structure commercial deals with complex, ambiguous, and potentially charged business issues
  • Use financial and competitive insights gained through rigorous analysis and research to achieve alignment between price, value, and business objectives
  • Build consensus among cross-functional partners and influence decision making within executive-level audiences at regional and global level
