The role will be a mix of international coordination across different stakeholder groups internally, outlining communications strategies, agency management as well as content development.

The candidate should ideally have at least 10 years of working experience in external communications with strong English writing and outstanding content creation skills across earned and owned media. A candidate with experience working in a larger corporate environment, or with Fintech companies is preferred.

We are looking for someone with excellent writing skills and experienced in writing speeches. He/she should also be a compelling story teller and strategic thinker. In addition, ability to navigate multiple countries, cultures and timezones would be helpful. Language fluency apart from English is a big plus, but not required.

Some key responsibilities are outlined as below:

  • PR & communications strategy outline, campaign coordination and special projects for International Markets (to help drive cross-markets proactive campaign scaling, etc)
  • Adapt global narratives and apply appropriately to different market groups; to combine global consistency with local relevance/market nuances
  • Leadership communications: Develop key international leaders' comms platforms, write speeches, select and prepare speaking opportunities and interviews, help develop International Markets’ information tools
  • Campaign evaluation, measurement of success, identifying future opportunities and improvement areas
  • This person will also serve as a liaison partner/bridge with the US-based global communications team on projects

About you

  • This role will lead the development and execution of integrated and strategic Consumer and Merchant communications programs that will move the needle with the target audience under International Markets  
  • This role needs to be a strong partner to our business leaders
  • The role will be supported by a PR agency team and will need to demonstrate solid experience in working with PR agencies to deliver strong results.
  • The successful candidate will be a results-driven and solutions-oriented individual; a person who has can-do attitude, rises to the challenges and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • This person must be a good team player, a strong collaborator, and able to drive things through in a highly disruptive industry.
