Individual Contributor supporting key security solutions across the In-Store business unit. The ideal candidate will possess a passionate interest and at least 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years of experience in Crypto domain, using asymmetric and symmetric principles in both software, and on HSM’s (hardware security modules). Must have experience with online and offline payments security algorithms such as DUKPT, PIN Verification, EMV security processing, card and cardholder authentication techniques, etc. Programming skills is a must, and experience in C++ and Java is highly preferable. Apart from being highly technical, the job will entail frequent interactions with various product teams for whom solutions will be crafted. Thus, good oral and written communications skills is vital. Must have working experience with Unix, communication protocols such as TCPIP, relational DBMS, Thales Payshield HSM’s, etc.

•       Design and develop security-related code in support of In-store initiatives

•       Passion for code quality, maintainability and testability

•       Life cycle management of the application, which includes, knowledge of using SCM (especially GIT), knowledge of build and deploy applications using tools like Jenkins, application rollout and monitoring

•       At least 10 years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years of experience in Crypto domain

•       Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

•       Unix/Linux proficiency

•       Provable working experience in cryptographic operations and related software development

•       Experience with a Version Control system (GIT, SVN, CVS, etc.)

•       Good understanding of the Software Development Life-Cycle

•       Experience building Java and C/C++ applications

•       Must be self-starter and work effectively with minimal supervision

•       Ability to self-manage, self-motivate, and seek out process improvement opportunities

•       Strong verbal & written communication skills

•       Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

•       Flexible and open to changing needs and expectations

•       Able to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment

•       Proven ability to plan, organize and estimate

•       Be a problem solver and drive to get results

•       Team player, responsible, delivery-oriented

•       Comfortable with the Agile development model
