Seasoned Technical Product Manager who has worked on building platforms as products

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a critical thought leader and execution partner in contributing to shaping up the overall payment platform product strategy
  • Responsible for articulating and maintaining payment platform product roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with other product managers, architects and engineers to deliver roadmap items: leading the definition of the roadmap item to managing the delivery and adoption for business value.
  • Responsible for ensuring well-defined operational process for the feature: monitoring of performance and feedback loop through analytics.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, regularly propose and discuss solutions to system and product changes

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record in leading the delivery of highly available, scalable systems on time
  • Conversant in payment systems and aware of the recent trends in the payments industry
  • Good understanding of platform service models, including Platform as a Service (PaaS)
  • Strong background in platform principles of and building best-in-class highly available and horizontally scalable platforms, preferably payment platforms.
  • Ability to conceptualize big picture and then break it down to user stories
  • Ability to collaborate across geographical areas and cross functional teams
  • Appetite for continuously learning and challenging yourself
  • Exposure to Agile Methodologies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of prior, demonstrable experience in product management preferably in payments industry.
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving, Communication and Interpersonal Skills
