P2P Payment Internship DEATCH M/F – Dreilinden (Berlin), Germany

Overview:

Person-to-Person Payments (P2P) via webbrowsers or mobile apps are part of PayPal’s DNA and today one of the main reasons for consumers to use PayPal. Smartphone penetration and other technology trends led to strong growthrates in the P2P market. PayPal will continue to drive this development with innovative ideas and solutions.

As part of the Commercial Growth Team, the P2P EMEA team translates global P2P strategy into local activities such as Marketing, Product go-to-market, Pricing and Customer Service,  based on a sound understanding of the local P2P consumer preferences, competition and regulation.

Reporting to the Head of P2P DEATCH, the Intern will be responsible for supporting a number of activities including:

  • Monitoring and controlling P2P KPIs for DEATCH and benchmarkingwith other EMEA markets
  • Analyzing performance KPIs and preparing presentation of results
  • Aligning with DEATCH and EMEA P2P peers on plans, initiatives and storylines for executive reporting and asks
  • Managing several independent projects  

Job Responsibilities:

  • KPI Monitoring and executive communication
  • Responsible for prepraring monthly business updates to the DEATCH management
  • Responsible for collecting updates from marketing, product, risk and other peer teams
  • Responsible for monthly competition check and occasional competition analysis
  • Leading sub projects and supporting Head of P2P with Project Management

Job Requirements:

  • A people person, you are a natural relationship builder, approachable and authentic, with well-developed people skills
  • You are a team player, interested in supporting and delivering against personal but also team, extended team and business goals.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Very Good Microsoft Excel skills and experience in importing data and Pivot Table analysis
  • Experience in creating Power Point slides in executive style
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to engage and influence multiple internal stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Legal and Operations
  • Ability to work well and independently in a structured yet flexible and adaptable way and in a fast-paced team environment
  • Able to balance competing priorities and build consensus to do the best thing for our business and our consumers

  • Study a business / commercial related subject, Bachelor degree with top results
  • Be available for a 6 months internship starting ASAP
