The Outbound Sales Executive plays a key role in meeting the revenue and account generation goals of the Telesales team. They acquire new merchant accounts and manage those relationships throughout the sales lifecycle.

Identify and develop new business leads that have the potential to be significant long-term opportunities for our company. Build commercial partnerships with companies, ranging from the largest ecosystem players, to the newest, most innovative start-ups worldwide in order to make the company more ubiquitous, innovative, and valuable to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting new leads to the activation of new accounts
  • Self-prospecting as well as participating in scheduled outbound calling campaigns in response to marketing initiatives
  • Report to the Manager of Outbound Telesales and interact significantly with Integration Engineers, Account Underwriting, and Marketing
  • Communicate appropriate product and technical information to prospective merchants and conduct follow-ups according to department standards
  • Identify sales trends, document prospect feedback, and contribute constructive feedback to our internal partners regarding marketing, product, and systems as necessary
  • Work with sales applications to ensure pipelines are accurate, and assist your team and management with sales related activities

  • Strong drive and highly competitive, with the ability to work effectively independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, target driven independent worker
  • Ability to function in multiple telephone and email queues, covering several product lines
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of external systems and PC based internet and software applications (The Internet, Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of internal systems such as Kana, Admin Tools, and E-Services
  • Sales process knowledge

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years’ strong inbound and outbound sales experience within a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
  • Proven history of success in a telephone based sales environment
  • 2+ years’ sales or business development experience in one or more of the following areas: an internet company, financial institution, payments processor, or telemarketing firm
