The Mexico Small Business Acquisition team is hiring an Online Channel Manager in a high visibility role focused on defining capabilities and strategies to drive incremental growth within an established program that brings new merchants into PYPL.

Initially, this role will be focused on driving the Mexico Online Channel for merchant acquisition. As a result, this individual will be accountable on driving revenue growth through incremental acquisition, activations and churn reduction of Merchants.


Other areas of focus include: lead generation and nurture across marketing channels, but specifically digital lead capture and email nurture, and scoping and delivering new digital capabilities (i.e. Ratings and Reviews across PayPal.com, digital video strategy) that enhance the user experience.


There are also opportunities to be a majority contributor to substantial go-to-market plans and support new product launches that drive significant signup volume.


Responsibilities include:

1. Create online channel strategy

2. Optimize acquisition and activation funnel via activities such as A/B testing, email activation series and landing pages creation

3. Optimize engagement funnel by generating activities such as merchant cashback campaigns, creating online tools and resources for merchants

4. Manage merchant email communication strategy and execution


Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B space, preferably with exposure in e-commerce, payments, Small Business.
  • Experience managing lead generation and nurture programs using marketing automation programs is a plus.
  • Experience in both digital and offline marketing channels with strong analytical skills.
  • Flexible and positive personality. Self-directed
  • Precise and polished communicator / presenter, expertly organized (capable of managing several projects within the same working day).
  • Someone who understands marketing drivers for both multi-channel efforts and within one channel.
  • Experience managing vendors (creative agencies and media agencies).
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required.  Strong academic background ideally in business and marketing.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
