PayPal is looking for an experienced Deal Desk Manager to help manage the end-to-end execution of complex deals and streamlined approval processes to increase sales speed and volume. This role will cover both the North American and Australian Enterprise markets and will report to the Head of Sales Operations for this region.

PayPal is looking for an experienced Deal Desk Manager to help manage the end-to-end execution of complex deals and streamlined approval processes to increase sales speed and volume. This role will cover both the North American and Australian Enterprise markets and will report to the Head of Sales Operations for this region.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

  • Drive revenue by working cross-functionally between sales, pricing, legal, finance, compliance, and underwriting in an effort to shorten the sales cycle time
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the sales organization and support functions to facilitate complex deal approvals
  • Serve as a coordination point across internal stakeholders to identify friction points within sales processes and accelerate deal velocity and cycle time
  • Optimize and manage a continuous deal pipeline by ensuring sales and sales support follows deal desk guidelines
  • Create, align, and monitor Deal Desk goals and metrics across sales and sales support
  • Create and continuously update Deal Desk process documentation and actively drive governance
  • Identify and track process improvement opportunities in order to build a priority list of high impact solutions across the sales org
  • Partner with BDR/ABM/Lead Gen teams to ensure effective and efficient lead generation for the sales team (e.g., process improvement, tool implementation, and optimization, liaison, reporting, automation, etc.)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in business or related field
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations or a similar role (Finance, Ops, etc.)
  • Deal desk experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in e-commerce, fintech, consulting, and/or Sales preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (including Einstein Analytics), Microsoft Office Suite, and Tableau strongly preferred
  • Technical knowledge in one or more of the following (SQL, SOQL, DAX, PowerPivot, JSON) preferred but not required

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets
  • Can-do attitude with a strong sense of priorities, accountability, and ownership
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
  • Successful track-record working with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally if needed (4 or fewer times per year, dependent on PayPal Covid travel restrictions)
