Java Software Engineer in partner engagement engineering team

As part of PayPal Partners & Marketplaces Organization, partner engagement engineering team builds a scalable solution that enables partners from acquisition, activation to servicing various needs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing services and applications. You should be familiar working in an agile environment and be comfortable working with cross functional teams, should have appetite to learn and be flexible to pick up new technology. You should demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive cross-team solutions all the way to delivery.


Job Requirements:

— 8+ years of software development experience in Java/J2EE

— Good understanding of microservices architecture

— Strong skills working with relational databases

— Experience with NoSQL technology (Mongo, Hadoop, Cassandra, Elastic Search, etc).

— Must have strong design skills, translating requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

— Experience with popular web/mid-tier frameworks and development tools like Spring, GIT, Maven, Eclipse-based tools, etc.
