Participate in the operation, design, and implementation of a multi vendor wired and wireless networks spanning multiple data centers and corporate locations. Work on implementation projects for new data center, and corporate office locations. Support network availability. Work as a team player to handle tickets, and escalations related to requestors needs of the network. Provide oncall support to NOC engineers as required by our oncall schedule. Engage with vendors to drive resolution on hardware, software, and circuit problems. Have interest in emerging technology and automation, and support the team through collaboration on implementation of these in the environment. Requirements 5+ years of experience in design, implementation, and operation of large scale network environment. CCNP or equivalent level of knowledge of Cisco network operation. Specifically familiar with OSPF, BGP, Spanning tree Comfortable working with both windows, and unix/linux hosts. Excellent communication, and documentation skills. Self-motivated, and able to deliver results without micro management. Willing to participate in oncall rotation as needed. Willing to be a part of a global team with teammates across the US, Shanghai, and Dublin. Willing to travel as required by implementation projects. (less than 10% travel time per year). Nice to have skills Experience with Arista switching. Experience with Juniper MX series routers. Experience Aruba wireless, RAP, or airwave. Experience with QoS on Cisco or other network vendors. Experience with supporting Avaya VoIP on the network. Experience with AT&T MPLS or SIP implementations. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls. Experience with scripting, or python.
